How we protect your personal information under POPIA.
HRCorp ("we", "us") is committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013 (POPIA). This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights. It was last updated in July 2026.
When you apply for a job or join our AI Database, we collect your name, contact details, CV, and the job category and location you select. When employers subscribe to our services we collect business contact details.
Solely to provide recruitment services: matching you to vacancies, contacting you about opportunities, and — only with your explicit permission — presenting your CV to a specific employer. We do not use your information for any other purpose.
Your CV is never sent, shown, or shared with anyone — including employers — without your clear permission for that specific role. No disclaimers, no loopholes. We never sell or pass on your email address or phone number.
CVs are stored in our private, access-controlled database — not on this website's server. Transmissions are encrypted (HTTPS). Access is limited to HRCorp's directors. We take reasonable, appropriate technical and organisational measures as required by section 19 of POPIA.
We keep your CV while you remain registered on our database so we can match you to future roles. You may ask us to delete it at any time.
You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to withdraw consent, to request deletion, and to object to processing. To exercise any of these, email job@hrcorp.co.za. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa) — inforegulator.org.za.
HRCorp's Information Officer can be reached at accounts@hrcorp.co.za.
